TU Idea Competition

Fenexity convinced the expert jury of the Darmstadt TU Idea Competition in the finals and secured 2nd place in the scientists category. The idea impressed with its strong scientific foundation, based on doctoral research and comprehensive findings from an energy transition living lab in Darmstadt www.delta-darmstadt.de. The high savings potential for electric bus and truck fleets through intelligent charging management can significantly accelerate the transportation transition. The innovative combination of fleet charging, energy optimization, and real-time charging management was particularly commended, enabling better integration of electric mobility and energy markets. Critical questions – such as the use of balancing power through electric fleets – were also discussed, an area that has been little explored so far. However, Fenexity was able to convince with a solid concept oriented toward real pilot projects and based on already proven feasibility studies. Now it's time for implementation!
