Fenexity at NextTruck 2025: Discussions on the Future of Sustainable Logistics

Fenexity at NextTruck 2025
From November 3rd to 4th, 2025, NextTruck took place in Berlin – one of the leading trade fairs for commercial vehicles and logistics solutions. Fenexity attended as a visitor and actively participated in discussions about the future of sustainable logistics. NextTruck brought together manufacturers, fleet operators, and technology providers to discuss the electrification of the logistics industry. The podium discussions addressed the key challenges for a climate-neutral road transport sector: the need for functional, reliable, and efficient vehicles, the expansion of charging and refueling infrastructure, and a policy framework that enables and drives the transition. Particularly impactful were the discussions on infrastructure requirements: To meet the 2030 CO₂ targets, approximately 400,000 zero-emission commercial vehicles will be needed on EU roads. This requires at least 50,000 publicly accessible charging points, of which about 35,000 must be MCS-capable, as well as around 700 hydrogen refueling stations. This corresponds to approximately 500 dedicated HDV charging points that must be installed every month until 2030. Fenexity engaged intensively with representatives from leading logistics companies, manufacturers, and infrastructure providers. The conversations showed that intelligent charging management systems will play a key role in the successful electrification of commercial vehicle fleets. Particularly the challenges in integrating charging infrastructure into logistics centers and the need for dynamic energy management solutions were the focus of discussions. Practical experiences from operating electric trucks are also shown in our article on the BMV Expert Dialogue at Spedition Duwensee. Fenexity is where the future of the logistics industry is being discussed. Participation in NextTruck underscores the commitment to developing innovative solutions for sustainable commercial vehicles together with partners from across the industry and advancing the mobility transition.
